Good choice
These are good. I was worried about it not being sticky enough because I’m not trying to keep a small baby out. I have a 3.5 year old rough little boy that I knew would try his might jerking once he realized he was locked out.. which he did and they stood up fine. Very easy to put on, but they didn’t work for my more shallow drawers that have another face of wood inside if that makes sense. They aren’t just flat on the inside front so there wasn’t enough space to position the adhesive area. I like how you can turn the catch around so if you dont want to have it lock when it closes it doesn’t have to. When I’m cleaning and getting in and out of specific cabinets a lot it’s nice to turn it around like that and not fight the latch. Also, the latch is pretty stiff which makes it good for my 3 year old. I was afraid he would be able to get into the cabinet when he saw how we pushed the latch but it’s still too stiff for him to do so that’s a good thing.

Perfect for apartment living
Loves these for cabinets and drawers in my apartment! No screws and super easy to install! A couple are coming loose but they have been frequently opened and closed for about a year now. Also love that you can switch it to being unlocked. A warning though is that when used, the cabinet or drawers stay a teeny bit open.

Work great but break often
These do the trick to keep little hands out of cupboards they shouldn’t be in. It becomes second nature once you’re used to them. I haven’t tried the magnetic closures but feel like these are more convenient than having to track down a magnet every time we need in the cupboards. However, they break often and with little force. I’ve had to replace multiple after only a couple months of use due to the plastic snapping.

Best cabinet locks ever!!!
BEST PURCHASE THIS GRANDMA HAS EVER MADE!!!! These were the easiest child proof cabinet locks I’ve ever installed and I’ve installed several! No drill or screwdriver necessary and the best part is you can turn them on or off!!! Also they are so strong that they even kept me from getting in the cabinets!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone with little ones!!

Broken after 6 months
The latches just snap off. Purchased these to baby proof the bathroom drawers and cabinets. The install was easy and the locks worked until they started to break. So far 2 have just broken off when an adult tried to unlatch it. I’m looking to replace the others quickly as I don’t trust that they will last much longer and keep my toddler safe.

Broke Too Easily
The installation was as easy and effective as claimed. However, that’s where the good review ends. They are way too easy to break. My six-year-old broke one trying to open it- I snapped off several just using in normally. They are also very thick and cause my older cabinet drawers not to close properly. (This would probably not be a problem for everyone). What was most concerning is that my one-year-old could fit her entire arm into a locked cabinet. Overall, they would up being sadly useless for us.

Definitely recommend these. I live in an apartment and these were the best option for saving space and not putting too many holes in the cabinets. My toddler can’t get into the chemicals because the lock works great. Haven’t had any issues. I would also say the price was cheaper here than anywhere else I looked.

Disappointing
How disappointing is it to buy baby safety products that just don’t work as they should? For almost $20 I was looking forward to adhesive locks that were turnable so I can easily use my kitchen as needed, but keep my little one safe when not in use. These latches are nearly impossible to rotate, I have blisters forming on my hands as I type from getting the latch turned into the lock position. I was able to get it to turn 1/4 of the way back to the unlock position and now it doesn’t move either direction. They don’t work on drawers without leaving a rather large gap, what’s the point? And the removal is also a pain, and that’s just experience from the drawer lock I had just installed.If you’re in an apartment and can’t drill into your cabinets these may be the ones for you. I’m going to go try to find the old screw in kidco swivel latches because they were amazing (I still have them on a couple cabinets from 12 years ago). These were a waste of time and money for my house, almost $20 for 8 latches is crazy. I don’t feel right attempting a return after installing one and attempting install on another.I added a video showing the struggle with these vs my old kidco latches. I read the insert 3-4 times to make sure I wasn’t missing any secrets for rotating the latch.I will give a positive and say they are very easy to install, I do wish all cabinet latches were this easy to line up.

Very easy to install and works great. The only issue (as some reviewers have identified) is that it doesn’t work great on some drawers (there may be quite a large gap left when the drawer is shut)
