We got these because our autistic kindergartener figured out how to open the traditional drawer latches. They work great, and he hasn’t really tried to figure this one out – maybe because it’s less visible? We haven’t bothered to set a lock code yet, for now just needing to push the button works for us. It’s attached to a wooden dresser, and the adhesive is holding great so far! Definitely would come back to this if I needed to keep him out of more drawers.

They pop open at the lightest amount of pressure, they don’t keep a toddler out of anything because the pressure of trying to open the door pops the lock easily! Not even a challenge that gives us time to intervene!

Latch keepsa peace of mind
This little lock has been a game changer. I dont really use it to keep people out, but to insure that the door is closed and latched tightly. It gives me peace of mind knowing even if something shifts, the door will not accidentally pop open (it has happened beforr and led to a complete loss of contents). It’s pretty lightweight, but it’s decently strong and has been through dozens of opening and latching.It was also very easy to install and sticks strong, even being in a hot garage.
