However, it’s so wide that putting the baby (11 months) front facing so she can see (and the only way she wants to be carried) it’s too wide of a spread for her little hips and legs. I also note there are no listing photos showing the baby sitting facing outward – it only says that in the description. For inside facing it’s very nice and I love that it has extra padding that is soft and flexible right at the leg openings.The small key/creditcard/wallet pocket in the front is a nice touch but I’m uncomfortable using it for such as it’s held on with 2 strips of velcro, not attached permanently by sewing or seams.The waist and straps are easy to put on and fit well – they are totally adjustable.The fabric/material is a major ‘con’ for us based on where we live. It’s pretty warm most of the year, and extremely hot part of it. We only have about 6 weeks of ‘cold’ weather and this fabric is really heavy and really thick. It would be far too hot for us to use except during those cold weeks. Also the ‘cover’ (a major point I was interested in when I ordered it) ends up being made of the same fabric/material – very thick and double layered. This is GREAT for winter – snow – cold and ice but just so so so hot for spring/summer/fall here.In the end, I’ve regulated this carrier for ‘winter’ use but if you live anywhere it is typically chilly or cold, or you live in any of the middle or Northern states of the US, this is a great option as it’s going to help keep the little one warm, and you can block the snow and wind with the ‘cap’ on the carrier.

Good value under $40, but better for cooler weather

The overall quality is solid enough for everyday use, and it feels secure when carrying my baby. The ergonomic design helps distribute weight fairly well, so it doesn’t put too much strain on my shoulders during short outings.I also like the added features like the zipper pouch and bottle holder, they’re practical and make it easier to go hands-free without needing to carry extra bags. The windproof cover is a nice touch too, especially for cooler or breezy days.That said, it’s not perfect. The material feels a bit thick, and I can see it getting uncomfortable in hot weather. On warmer days, both me and the baby tend to feel a bit overheated after wearing it for a while. So I’d say it’s much better suited for fall, winter, or mild temperatures.Overall, if you’re getting this at a lower price point, it’s worth it for the convenience and functionality. But if it’s priced higher, I’d probably look at other options.
