This product is incredible, my baby is 11 months old now and we have been using it every single day for 11 months with no decline in its abilities.We use it every single night, and during the day for our baby’s naps. We have never had any connection issues, it is not connected to the Wi-Fi so it can always work. The battery life is still incredible, I don’t think I’ve ever lost battery even when I accidentally leave it on all day. I keep it plugged in all night too. I like the small screen, you can fit it in your pocket and even go garden outside with it, and the connection still stays. I think the only negative I have found is that if the power goes out it doesn’t work. Because the physical camera needs to be plugged in. So unless you’re in an area that gets power outages all the time, I highly recommend this product. We bought a second one just to throw in our diaper bag, so that when we visit family or go out of town, we just have a second one ready to set up in any room at all times. As for the image quality, I find it perfectly fine. If you are an insanely anxious parent and need to be able to see the physical air come in and out of your baby’s nostrils, it probably is not high-quality enough for you. I could usually see my baby breathing if I looked long/hard enough. But mainly it’s just good at seeing how your baby is shifting around, and the microphone is incredibly good so you can absolutely hear when the baby is crying or rustling around. It definitely has night vision, I can totally see my baby at night in the dark. I do wish I could switch between night and day vision sometimes, because every so often (usually in the pack n play with the White mesh) it gets confused and switches it to the wrong setting and then I have trouble seeing my baby.

Great monitor for on the go!
This is a great baby monitor that does not need to connect to wifi! It is super easy to use and the monitor has a good battery life on it. I use this when traveling and for the price, it really is a great product! I have yet to have any problems with it! While I do love it, I am not sure I would make this my primary monitor (personally) I feel the wire that connects to the monitor is quite short and getting the best angle would be a little difficult for full-time use. The picture is too zoomed in for me and I prefer to see the whole body. None-the-less, the picture quality is great and audio works well for a great price, I wont leave out of town without this.

I absolutely love the VTech VM819 baby monitor! It gives me so much peace of mind while I’m doing things around the house because I can always see and hear my baby. The battery life is amazing and lasts a long time. I can even step outside and still stay connected without any issues. One of the best features is that it does NOT require Wi-Fi, which makes it more secure and reliable. Great video and sound quality, and very easy to use. Highly recommend!

Best monitor ever I couldn’t say enough good things!
I’d die for this monitor!! No wifi, never cuts out, volume can go super low and also really loud. Super bright even on the lowest brightness but it’s not bad. I’ve not had any issues with this before and it’s genuinely so amazing. SO easy to set up both the camera and the monitor, quality of the monitor is so great, video quality allows me to see the my babies breathing and her binkies. This is the monitor I’ll use for the rest of forever!

Good value non-wifi baby monitor
Great small baby monitor. Very good value for money. We specifically didn’t want a wifi-enabled monitor. I like how it’s easy to adjust the volume (use the buttons) instead of having to go into a menu to adjust (which we must do for our other baby monitor).Downside is that you can’t adjust the camera positioning remotely. You must do it by hand. But for the money we spent, this thing is otherwise solid. Easy setups, picture quality, etc. Good basic monitor.

Incredible value & incredible product.
Fantastic product, & a wonderful value. Easy setup (and by “setup”, I mean you plug in the camera, turn on the well-made monitor, & it automatically connects with no intervention required. Unbelievable.), high quality audio, easy use and function of features like volume, microphone/2-way audio, zoom, etc., and the ability to unplug the monitor & move it closer is worth its weight in gold. Using it from sept 25 works great, does what it says, battery not really 19h but we alway charge it. We live in a 2400 sqft house with many thick walls and this cam has no connection issues.

I live in Austria and ordered the baby camera from Amazon.de. I Was waiting for the camera and even paid for a faster delivery since the one we have is slowly loosing it’s battery hold. I was very disappointed that it came with USA OUTLET PLUGS!!! I can’t rate the camera itself since I didn’t set it up and it’s going back. I’m not going to deal with adapters that will just be inconvenient for me.. To bad I really wanted this camera will see if I can get it with European plugs

Pretty happy with this unit after a week of use. Installation was a breeze and everything worked right out of the box. Currently only using one of the cameras but I wanted an option with a second camera so that I could leave one installed and travel with the second when we go out to visit friends or family.Operationally, sound is good and it doesn’t have an annoying hum that some other models have had. Image is more than good enough to see what’s going even when its completely dark. Battery also seems really good and it seems like it could go a long while without being plugged in.
